A silent conference, without renting a single headset
Each stage or session gets its own room; attendees scan its QR code and hear the speaker through their own earbuds. Several talks can share one hall without drowning each other out.
How it works
Create a room per stage
One broadcast room for each stage, session or overflow area — give each a clear name.
Show the QR code
Put it on the stage screen, the badge or the printed programme. Attendees join in seconds, with no app.
Speak — everyone hears
A phone at the lectern picks up the speaker; every attendee hears the talk live in their own earbuds.
Why organizers use SpeakMic
Up to 600 listeners
100 per room, and up to 600 with relay rooms — enough for a full hall plus an overflow area.
Overflow and remote listening
People in the corridor, an overflow room or outside the venue follow the talk live, anywhere with internet.
Private briefings
A PIN keeps a press feed or an internal briefing to the people you invited.
Frequently asked questions
Can several talks run in the same hall?
Yes. Give each talk its own room; attendees scan the code of the one they want and hear only that speaker in their earbuds.
How many attendees can listen?
Up to 100 per room. Relay rooms rebroadcast a room to up to 600 listeners in total.
Can the talk be recorded?
SpeakMic doesn't record anything on its servers. The broadcaster can record their own broadcast to their device.
Is the venue's WiFi enough?
Listening uses about 15 MB per hour per person at the default quality. Mobile data is usually enough; good venue WiFi helps in a packed hall.
