A factory tour where everyone hears the guide over the machines
The guide talks into a phone; visitors listen through their own headphones, so nobody has to shout over the line — and the visitors at the back hear as well as those at the front.
How it works
Create a permanent room
One room for your visitor tours — the same link and QR code for every group.
Hand out the QR code at reception
Visitors scan it while they put on their safety gear — no app, no account.
Talk while you walk the floor
Everyone hears you in their headphones, however loud the hall and however long the group.
Why plants use SpeakMic
One QR code for every tour
Permanent rooms keep their link, so it can sit on a sign at reception.
Groups of up to 100
Enough for a school class, a delegation or an open day — more with relay rooms.
Private to your visitors
A PIN keeps the room to the group on the tour.
Frequently asked questions
Can visitors use headphones under ear protection?
That depends on your site's safety rules — some allow in-ear headphones under ear defenders, some don't. Agree on it with your safety officer before the first tour.
What if phones aren't allowed in some areas?
Then give the talk for those areas before or after. SpeakMic only needs the phone in the visitor's pocket and a connection — mobile data or the site's guest WiFi.
Does the guide need any equipment?
Just a phone with internet. A headset with a microphone helps in very loud halls, so the microphone sits close to the guide's mouth.
How many visitors can listen?
Up to 100 in one room, and up to 600 with relay rooms.
